« with a stellar Sun Planter Slab Workshop!

In this 3-hour workshop, you’ll create your own personalized sun mask planter using slab-building techniques. Templates will be provided to help you cut the different components from slabs (sheets of clay). You’ll then be guided step by step through the assembly process as you construct your planter.
This workshop is a wonderful opportunity to gain hands-on experience while learning practical techniques for creating strong seams, secure joins, and structurally sound forms. With over 10 years of experience working with slab construction, I’ll be sharing the tips, tricks, and knowledge I’ve gathered over the years to help you build with confidence.
Once your planter is constructed, you’ll decorate it with underglaze, giving your sun mask its own personal touch, expression, or meaning.
No previous clay experience is required. After the workshop, your piece will be carefully prepared, clear glazed, and kiln fired by the studio, then made available for pickup once finished.
Pricing includes instruction and materials.
